Ranking

Standards

Ranking at level 5 is Coach or Instructor, level 6 or above is Master. The person must respect his or her master, must follow instructions, pay attention to the order of fellow students and express the importance and excellence of Wushu Kung Fu.

Ranking Method

Level 5 and below needs to demonstrate one fist form, one weapon form, and answer ranking committee’s questions on technique and theory. To apply for level 6 or above does not require a test but needs to receive sufficient points as follows:

Level 6: 60-69 points

Level 7: 70-79 points

Level 8: 80-89 pointsn

Level 9: 90-99 points

Level 10: 100 points (highest honour)

For levels 8 through 10 the rank is granted after an evaluation and the final decision is made by the organization ranking committee.

Teacher/Instructor: If you are a teacher/instructor you are granted 40 base points. For every year of Wushu Kung Fu experience add 1 point.

Accomplishments: If you have written any Wushu Kung Fu books or articles, or received international awards and recognition, add 10 points.

Contributions: If you contribute to Wushu Kung Fu programs or you use Wushu Kung Fu to make a contribution to society, or your students have international accomplishments or recognition, add 10 points.

Additional Factors: The organization ranking committee will consider additional factors and may grant additional points to a maximum of 10 points.
